The George at it's heart is a pub. Standing proud in the centre of the Harbour, it has been a coaching inn serving drinks and giving guests somewhere to sleep since the turn of the 19th century.
The George boasts a 50 cover restaurant, 2 bars, pool table, darts board, 6 letting rooms and a garden terrace with it's very own Bar overlooking the bustling West Bay Harbour.

We have some incredible talent here at The George. As a family, we have lived in the Bridport & West Bay area for over 22 years. The George is our 3rd Palmers Pub in the area and we are lucky to be able to count a huge number of locals and regular visitors as friends.

Broadchurch
West Bay Harbour is known as the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It has been a popular holiday destination for years as well as a being a busy fishing and leisure harbour.
The ITV drama BROADCHURCH brought the Bay to the attention of millions of TV viewers around the world and showcased the beautiful scenery around the Bay.
The market town of Bridport lies 1.5m to the north and holds bi-weekly markets as well as a monthly farmers market.
